Why do I have so much self-doubt?

Self-doubt arises when we question our abilities, often due to fear of failure, past negative experiences, or comparisons with others. It’s a natural response to uncertainty or challenges outside our comfort zone. Our brains are wired to avoid risks and potential failure, which can trigger self-doubt as a protective mechanism. Additionally, societal pressures and perfectionism can amplify these feelings. While self-doubt is common, it can be overcome by building confidence through experience, focusing on strengths, and shifting our mindset from fear to growth.

How do I reprogram my mind?

It all starts with what you tell yourself. Change the way your mind thinks. Speak life into your mind. Do you really think you are a failure who will never amount to any success? NO! Do not give life to the negative voice you hear! Instead, tell yourself how incredible you are, how you are worthy of love, how you are not a quitter, and how you can do anything you dream of. The way we give life to our dreams is through visualization and meditation. Spend a few minutes each day visualizing yourself successfully completing a task or achieving a goal. Visualization helps rewire your brain to see success as achievable, reducing fear and self-doubt.

Take Action!

When it comes to taking action, we need a plan. First, take a minute to figure out what your "why" is. Why are you wanting this dream or goal to come true? Our "why" gives this goal life—it gives us a reason to keep pushing on the days we want to hit the snooze button. Now, it’s time to develop a strategy. What is the end goal of the dream you have? Set small, achievable goals to get to that end result.

For example, if your goal is to make 1 million dollars, break it down starting today. If you want to make a million dollars in the next two years, you will need to make $1,369.86 per day, $9,615.38 per week, and $41,666.67 per month for the next two years. That’s all the system is—see the goal and the end, then break it down to how you can make it a reality. It won’t happen overnight. Continually get 1% better each day. These dreams will forever remain dreams unless you take action today.
